Killarney local, Grace Foley, will launch her brand new E.P. at the Acoustic Club at the Gleneagle on Sunday December 9th. Grace is a Classical-Crossover singer and has extensive performing experience having performed in venues throughout Ireland and the UK and she has regularly sung on both local and national radio and television. Grace began her vocal studies with the late Aine Nic Ghabhann and went on to study at the Royal Irish Academy of Music with renowned Irish soprano, Virginia Kerr.
Her background in Classical singing has given Grace the foundation on which to build her new brand of music. Grace’s “warm chocolate voice” has wowed listeners around the world including Phil Coulter, Grainne Seoige and Don O Neill, to name but a few, and she is absolutely thrilled to now be releasing a duet with Celtic Tenor star, James Nelson. The duet is one of 7 tracks on this exciting E.P. which was recorded in the Ventry Recording Studio in Balbriggan with Dave McCune and producers Niall O Sullivan and Brian Connor. These producers have worked alongside big names like Michael Buble, Katherine Jenkins and Sinead O Connor and they are incredibly excited about where this music will take the Killarney singer.
MC for the evening will be former Rose of Tralee, Maria Walsh and Grace’s support act will be Killarney singer-songwriter, Tom Lucey. This promises to be a wonderful evening and what better to start off the festive season than with a night of music, fun and entertainment!
